Omega 3 Fish Oil

omega 3 fish oilIn our diet today, high chance we have been consuming an excessive amount of omega 6. This has caused our body to be in high inflammation. When one has high inflammation, the body will overreact and cause problems like heart disease, high blood pressure and skin condition such as acne. Most common source of these omega 6 comes from our cooking oil (corn, safflower, sunflower and soybean etc). So it is critical to lower inflammation naturally.

The most natural way to lower inflammation is to introduce Omega 3 fatty acids into our diet. The richest source of Omega 3 comes from deep sea fishes and wild salmon.

What You Should Be Eating

You should be eating fish like Salmon daily (although not necessarily in every meal). It is known that other fish also contain Omega 3 but their concentration is different and is lower most of the time. Wild salmon is by far the richest source of Omega 3. If you are a vegetarian, you can opt for flaxseeds or flaxseed oils. Walnuts are also rich in Omega 3.

One thing to take note if you are choosing a omega 3 supplement is that the EPA amount should be high (at least higher than the DHA). The reason because EPA is the greatest anti-inflammatory source found in nature. It can lower inflammatory cytokines, which are implicated in acne.
